An open, friendly and informal club for climbers in the Belfast area

Club news

Belfast Climbing Club exists to give climbers an opportunity to meet and climb with each other locally and farther afield. We meet twice a week at climbing walls in Belfast and run trips farther afield monthly.

Although we don’t take beginners, you don’t need much experience to come and climb with us. The club provides a great way for people with some indoor climbing experience to try climbing outside, or for climbers new to the area to meet other climbers.

There’s some amazing climbing not far from us. Belfast is ideally situated to take advantage of the glorious sea cliffs at Fair Head, the rolling granite hills and crags of the Mourne Mountains, and the Derryveagh Mountains and sea cliffs of Donegal.
